My story

We have worked together at St Peter's Emergency Department for the last 10 years. In this time we have seen many changes and challenges, and throughout it all, our love of exercise has helped us to meet the demands of our jobs. For us, it is more than keeping fit, it is our way of relaxing, re-focussing and being in the best possible mindset to keep up with work, studies and busy family life.

One of our biggest achievements is being part of the Emergency Department Trauma Troopers Rounders team and winning the ASPH Rounders Tournament 3 years running. Training alongside our colleagues in all weathers has prepared us take on our next challenge, combining our love of fitness with supporting the team at St Peter's Emergency Department.

We are so proud to have the opportunity to take part in the iconic London Landmarks Half Marathon on behalf of ASPH Charity. Any funds that we raise will go towards the Emergency Department at St Peter's Hospital, making improvements that will benefit patients and our hard-working staff, and help us to provide the best possible care.

We see over 350 patients per day, and have seen first-hand how ASPH Charity has already helped to provide vital equipment and resources to help benefit those needing our help.
