My story
My name is Misa.
I am a general nurse by background however worked as a fertility nurse/Sonographer in a private sector for over 10 years now.
All of our patients who had a successful treatment are discharged from our care to NHS for their antenatal care. I am very well aware how much pressure this adds to already stretched NHS.
This is the reason why I have decided to run a half marathon on behalf of ASPH and raise critically needed funds to support Maternity & Paediatric Services.
I ran a few half marathons in past and I was supposed to run a marathon in Prague in 2020 which never happened due to Covid.
Unfortunately, I have stopped running which I truly enjoyed when I started my new job in 2020.
I am ready to get back to hobby I loved and enjoyed along with raising money for my local NHS hospital.
